On 12 April, Dr Miguel Veiga, Engineer and Technical Director at AB ASESORES, and Mr Juan Sanchez, Engineer and Pamplona Office Manager at AB ASESORES, gave a Conference for students studying the Design Degree at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. Last Thursday, on the first of June, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office published the draft of the “2017 Strategy Plan Regarding Industrial Property” on their website. The plan lists twenty-seven measures which fall within four main lines of action: Promotion of Industrial Property in Spain. Internationalisation. Enforcement of Industrial Property Rights. For the eighth year running and around this time of year, AB ASESORES has taught the Legislation and Intellectual Property course for the doctorate in applied engineering offered by TECNUN at the University of Navarra on the San Sebastián campus. The new and long-awaited Law 24/2015 of 24 July on Patents came into force on the 1 April. It was not until the day before, 31 March, that the Council of Ministers approved the Regulation for Execution in the Royal Decree 316/2017.
