SEMINAR IN THE NAVARRA MARKETING CLUB ON THE NEW PATENT LAW

AB ASESORES will give a talk on 27 June at the Navarra Marketing Club titled “Developments of the new Patent Law (in force since the first of April) and its impact on companies”.

This talk will present the changes that the new Patent Law 24/2015 introduces, in relation to patent inventions and utility models. It will give a detailed presentation of the most relevant modifications, such as the new patent granting procedure, post-granting opposition procedure, broadening of the application field of utility models, changes in terms of fees and payment dates, how the internationalisation of invention patents and utility models affects this legal framework, requirements for suing a third party for infringement of a utility model and how the changes affect holders of invention patents or utility models applied for before the new Law, among others.
